ANDREA VERONI

PHOTOGRAPHER

I was born in Rome in 1988.

I discovered my passion for photography during my teenage years, experimenting with it by travelling around.

Once I finished high school, I started studying at the College of Mathematics at Roma Tre University.

In 2009 I got in touch with the editorial staff of Edizioni Zero Roma, who had sent me as a photo reporter to several concerts of the Roman indie music scene.

In 2011 I joined Sottopalco, a national photographic agency focused on showbiz events, which brought me to the realization of my first publications, among which, in 2012, outstands the cover of CD + DVD “Sud – Il Tour” by Fiorella Mannoia.

In the same year I cultivated a diligent and continuous working relationship as advertising photographer for Mela Communication creative agency, which thus offered me the essential opportunity to work for the most disparate clients and to experiment with the most heterogeneous kinds of photography: from still life to reportage, from food to fashion.

During the following years, I simultaneously dealt with two sectors: advertising and music. I alternated works for clients such as Estée Lauder, Unhcr and Totalerg, to shootings of big gigs and events for newspapers like Repubblica and La Stampa.

Even if apparently distant, music and advertising perfectly melted in my life in 2015. When I got appointed by FremantleMedia Italia as set, backstage and branded content photographer for X Factor ItaliaItalia’s Got Talent, and Disney Italia.

Meanwhile, from 2015 I am also the official photographer of the cultural association Rovescio, which allowed me to tackle street and architecture photography, thus stimulating me to find new and unusual perspectives on the world of street art, starting from the fervid Roman act.
